This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled in connection with calrueb alerts, a personal automated-notification program operated by Calvin Charles Rueb ("we," "us," or "the operator") in connection with the website calrueb.com.
calrueb alerts is a private, personal program. The operator runs small self-hosted scripts and services that send SMS text messages to the operator's own mobile phone number — for example, price-watch alerts (such as a notification when a refurbished product appears in a public online store), build and deployment status, and reminders. The operator's own phone is the only recipient, and there are no other users of the program.
We do not collect personal information from any member of the public, and there are no end users of this program other than the operator. The only personal information involved is the operator's own mobile phone number, which the operator has configured into the program in order to receive messages, together with the contents and timestamps of the messages the program generates and the basic delivery logs created by our SMS provider (Twilio) when a message is sent.
The operator's mobile phone number is used solely to deliver the program's notification messages to the operator. Message content and delivery logs are used only to operate, debug, and improve the program. We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, or any marketing or promotional purpose.
We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your mobile information. Mobile phone numbers and any other information associated with this messaging program are never shared with third parties, affiliates, or lead generators, and are never used for marketing or promotional purposes by anyone. The program has no third-party recipients of data. The only processor involved is our SMS delivery provider (Twilio), which transmits the messages on our behalf and processes the phone number and message content strictly for that purpose; no information is shared with Twilio (or anyone else) for marketing.
SMS messages from this program go only to the operator's own phone. Standard carrier message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Message logs are retained only as long as useful for operating the program and are then deleted. We apply reasonable technical measures to protect the limited information involved.
This program is not directed to children and does not knowingly involve information about anyone under 13.
